SOS, need help! I recently bought a Purline Seco 10 dehumidifier on sale because moisture in my corner room (constant rain outside) started causing mold on the walls. The unit seems to be working, but I can not figure out how to properly set the built-in hygrometer so it does not run all night and instead shuts off automatically once it reaches the desired humidity level.

Does anyone know the optimal settings for a bedroom so I do not over-dry the air into a “desert-like” state? Also, where is the air filter located in this model? I can not seem to find it anywhere in real life. Maybe someone has the manual, since it was not included in the box? I am also wondering if it is possible to connect a hose for continuous drainage directly into a drain, because emptying the tank every morning is getting pretty annoying. Would that cause any issues with drainage or pressure?

For the settings, it is usually a good idea to set the moisture level to about 50%. Like, you will feel comfortable and doors and windows are protected against moisture. And I stumbled upon a very useful service manual for PURLINE SECO 10 on a website named ManualMachine. The photo there points out where to link the drainage hose and the steps to get to the air filter without forcing the plastic clips of the housing. The filter is usually at the back, and you just rinse it under running water every two weeks. Btw, I am also considering this model, as I hear a lot of good feedbacks regarding it. Man, may I ask you to write your review with the operation of it in a few days?
