Why does my car AC go warm at every red light? (7 views)

25 Feb 2026 16:30

This weather is brutal and my car AC is driving me crazy. It works perfectly when I'm moving, but the second I stop at a traffic signal, it starts blowing warm air. By the time I get going again, it slowly cools back down. I thought it might be something expensive like the compressor. I found a really helpful page that explains exactly why this happens in our climate. It's at https://travelblogdubai.com/car-ac-blows-hot-air-abu-dhabi/ and it covers everything from a dirty condenser to a weak cooling fan. It also explains how things like low refrigerant or a clogged cabin filter can cause this. Before I take it to a garage, has anyone else dealt with this and found a simple fix? I'm hoping it's just dust blocking something.
