How Much Would You Realistically Spend on a Halloween Jacket? (14 views)

I think the amount I’d spend on a Halloween jacket really depends on whether I see it as a one-night costume or something I can actually wear afterward. If it’s only going to be worn for a few hours on October 31, I probably wouldn’t want to spend too much. But if the jacket has a style that works with normal outfits, spending a little more starts to make sense.

Personally, I’d look for something in the affordable-to-mid-range rather than choosing the cheapest option available. For me, around $100–$150 feels reasonable for a jacket that has a good fit, decent material, and enough versatility to wear beyond Halloween. I’d rather buy one jacket that can become part of my regular wardrobe than spend money on a costume that sits in a closet for the rest of the year.

I also think the type of Halloween event matters. For a casual house party, I wouldn’t go overboard. For an outdoor event or a themed party, I’d care more about warmth, comfort, pockets, and overall quality.

There are also plenty of options when looking at Halloween Jackets for men and women, so I wouldn’t choose based on price alone. I’d compare the material, design, fit, and how many different outfits I could create with the jacket.
What about everyone else? Would you spend around $50, $100, $150+, or more on a Halloween jacket if you knew you could wear it after Halloween?
