I’m looking for advice on choosing afood safety consultant in the UK for a food business. I’m particularly interested in finding someone who can provide practical support rather than just general advice.

For example, would you normally expect a food safety consultancy to help with HACCP, food safety management systems, compliance requirements, audits and food hygiene procedures?

For businesses that have used food safety consulting services, what should you check before choosing a consultant? Is industry experience, knowledge of UK regulations, or experience with HACCP more important?
