Do inspection companies offer any kind of guarantee or warranty? (26 views)

I'm about to buy a 2014 Nissan Patrol in Baniyas after a clean inspection report from a company offering Professional Inspection Baniyas. The report says the car is in good condition with no major issues. I'm still nervous because I've heard stories about people getting inspections and then having major failures a month later. I asked the inspection company if they offer any kind of guarantee, like if they miss something major will they cover repairs? They said no, their report is only based on the condition at the time of inspection. That seems fair but also makes me wonder if the inspection is really worth it if there's no accountability. For those of you who've had inspections, have you ever tried to hold the company responsible for a missed issue? What happened? I'm trying to decide if I should pay for a more expensive service that might offer some kind of warranty, or if that doesn't exist in this industry. The Patrol has 180k km so I know things can fail at any time regardless of inspection. Any advice on managing expectations would be great. Thanks.
