I’m currently a vet tech at a busy 24-hour animal hospital, and the sheer volume of emergency arrivals is staggering. We have a rotating schedule where someone always has to be available for surgical support at a moment’s notice.

It’s incredibly rewarding to save a pet’s life at 3:00 AM, but the administrative side of tracking our specific duty hours can be a real headache during our morning debriefs.
