However, when people start preparing for GH-300, they may feel somewhat comfortable since they have been using Copilot daily. It is important to understand that the regular usage of a tool and its proper usage in all possible contexts are different things, and practice questions may help to understand it clearly.

According to Microsoft, candidates need to be able to use Copilot to increase productivity, quality, and security, including the responsible use of AI, prompt engineering, features of Copilot depending on the plan, and privacy concerns. They also need to have knowledge of GitHub basics and experience in using at least one programming language. The list is quite diverse, and most people have a lot of knowledge in one or two fields only.

Here’s where questions help. If you continue doing the prompt writing questions correctly and continue failing the plan features and privacy setting questions, now you know where your focus should be. Without that knowledge, you are easily going to keep coming back to the things you already know, as they are productive to answer. Wrong questions are beneficial, and you need to take note of the topic that corresponds to each question and see where the pattern is.

It is also important that you read through all the explanations and try to determine why all other possible answers are not correct, and if you manage to understand this, it means that you really understood the concept. There is also a free Microsoft assessment test on which you will get to understand the style of asking the question.

For more practice after that, the GH-300 practice questions on CertBoosters can give you extra scenarios to test yourself on. Use them together with the official study guide and some hands on time in your editor.
