Do Digital Retirement Cards Feel More Meaningful Than a Simple Message? (14 อ่าน)

A coworker in our office is retiring next month, and our team started discussing how to celebrate the occasion. Since some colleagues work remotely, collecting signatures on a traditional card wasn't easy. We wanted something that everyone could be part of without making it complicated.
That's when I started looking at free retirement cards that could be signed by multiple people. It turned out to be much easier for everyone to add their own message, share memories, and wish the retiree well, even if they were in different locations. I also noticed that online retirement cards are becoming more common for hybrid and remote teams because they're quick to organize and easy to share.
While comparing different options, I came across theecards.com as one place that offers digital retirement greeting cards. What I liked most was that everyone could write a personal note instead of sending the same short "Happy Retirement" message.
I still think it's the words inside the card that matter most. A thoughtful message from friends and coworkers often becomes a keepsake that someone looks back on long after their last day at work.
How does your workplace celebrate a retirement? Do you prefer a traditional paper card, or have free retirement cards and online retirement cards become your go-to choice?
