Dragon fruit is cultivated in warm or tropical or subtropical climates (65 -85 Degree C). It demands complete sunshine at least 6-8 hours per day and soil that is well drained and full of organic matter. They should not be in places which are likely to frost or be waterlogged as the plant is sensitive to cold and root rot.
